經典小說的共通點是甚麼?令人掩卷長歎的,不一定是悲劇,而是得知世間的奧秘如此層層包裹,窮一生的時間也未必能解開謎底,到視野終於清晰的時候,生命也快到了盡頭,小說寫到了最後,也與讀者共度了一段人生,結尾沒有大快人心,也沒有終極的救贖,有甚麼?一起來看:

1. 狄更斯《雙城記》:

「我今日所做的事遠比我往日的所作所為更好,更好;我今日將享受的安息遠比我所知的一切更好,更好。」
